When was the last time you asked yourself these questions?

1. What have you done to help your client reach their objectives?

2. What have been the successes while managing the account? What were the challenges?

3. What needs to change moving forward?

4. What actions will you take?

5. What support do you need from your company and who needs to be involved?

A strategic account review is a process every Account Manager should be going through every 6 months.

Too often the account team rush straight into the next project without stopping to look at what results they achieved for their client for the current project. This plan is a review of what went well, what the challenges were and how you will ensure you improve on performance.

The Account Manager is usually the person who conducts the review by completing the template and presenting it to their team. The template is a step by step guide to presenting the information in a very clear, concise and structured way.

It will include background information about the client so the team can understand the client’s business, their objectives and what activities the company has taken to help them with their objectives.

A review is a good way for the whole team to feel involved in the success of the account, to align everyone as to what’s really going on. It allows everyone to clearly understand what you’ve been doing to help the client and what needs to happen next.

This Powerpoint template is a ‘done for you’ strategic plan that you can simply overwrite with your information.

It can be used again and again for all your different clients.

It’s a clear, structured and concise format so you can present to your team feeling confident you’ve got everything covered.

Once you’ve used the strategic account review you’ll have all the information you need in one presentation that you can overwrite again and again.

It’s also a great way to present the information to a new member of your team who needs to have an overview of the account so they can get up to speed quickly.
